Julia Carter, Approved employsure: Panel Advisor & Employment Barrister

JuliaJulia has 17 years of experience in advising on a diverse range of employment law matters from recruitment issues to termination of employment.

Julia gained her degree in Psychology in 1985 and qualified as a Barrister in 1991.In 1996 Julia requalified to become a practicing Solicitor while working for Blaser Mills Solicitors.

In 2001 Julia joined Human & Legal Resources. During her six years with the company she advised and supported clients on a range of day-to-day employment issues, represented clients at tribunals, ran various training courses and public seminars, while taking an active role in the development of the Company. In May 2004 Julia was
promoted to Legal Director. Julia was instrumental in her role as

Legal Director in developing the services offered to clients, ensuring best practice and commercial advice was given to clients. She was also responsible for client retention, recruiting and developing key individuals in the legal team.
